Trees – Could break your Bank!! Here are some protection ideas

Things you might not know about the Trees around your property.

Trees are not covered under warranty! unless you got your home on winter season and you are on your first year and your tree died, then perhaps you have a shot! that too depends case to case!

So what could you do? by mid of spring start nourishing your team with some fertilizers. And don’t forget to add pesticides and reinforce the tree (until) they are strong enough to sustain north dallas wind. Perhaps having this done on the first few years would guarantee your trees life!

Things you might not know :

  • HAO will send you letter in case if they think your tree is dead or in the verge of it. Will start noticing you to have them replaced. Failing which will lead to fine! and more things that we don’t want to focus on!
  • If you have a road on the one side of the house and have a tall grill fence then the trees on the side of the grill are owners responsibility. If you have a shorter grill fence then they are maintained by HOA. We don’t own the land outside of the walking pavement. But the tree is still our responsibility!!
  • Trees like maple are vulnerable to tree brewing worms and larva like emerald ash borrows. And would need proper care. Some of the products being recommended to our community members are called out below.
    • BioAdvanced Ready-to-Use Tree and Shrub Protect and Feed Granules
    • Miracle-Gro Tree and Shrub Plant Food Spikes
    • Compare-N-Save Systemic Tree and Shrub Insect Drench
    • Bonide Neem Oil Fungicide, Miticide and Insecticide Concentrate
    • Dynamite – All-Purpose Plant Fertilizer
  • Replacing a tree could cost you anywhere from 650 $ to 1200 $ depending on the season, tree and the place where you are buying from!

Note: If you are into DIY! you could also get it for 400$ But would highly recommend not to! Not going in detail..!

Some places where you could buy from incase you find yourself into this situation!
